Our Guest Dave Hayes
PAT: Hey welcome back to “Something More!” We are sitting and we are so honored to have “The Praying Medic,” Dave Hayes, here with us today! Dave, you know the Lord used you for 30 years working in the ambulance. Doing and going out and man, laying hands on people and seeing miracles. Tell us though, because you’re continuing to see the physical miracles. In fact recently at a conference, something happened. Tell me about that.
DAVE: Yeah. A conference in Tacoma. This was last July. I was between sessions. I was praying for a woman and she had lots and lots of health problems. Thyroid problems. GI problems. She had swollen feet. Circulatory problems. COPD.
PAT: Wow.
DAVE: I think she had emphysema. She just had a lot of problems and I didn’t have a lot of time to pray for her so I prayed over her for about 10 minutes and I released power.
PAT: Right.
DAVE: And we got some healing. She came back the next day at the conference. Her feet looked normal. All the purpleness in her feet was gone. Her circulation looked good. But what I prayed for her at the conference I said look, I don’t have enough time to do all the healing work God wants to do. So I believe the Lord wants me to dispatch angels to follow you home when you leave here. Angels are going to follow you around. They’re going to continue to work the healing in you. So she wrote back to me about 6 weeks later and she said, Dave, you’re not going to believe what happened. I went home. I went to an appointment and one of my friends said oh, you look like you’re breathing a lot better. Are you taking new medication? She said no. My COPD seems to have cleared up!

Went on that, went through the Bible Study. Well it was like two months ago now, been clean ever since. Just amazing. Just amaz— I’m amazed. But why should I be? It’s all the Word, you know. The Word cleanses. Stand everyone. Everyone I want you to pray. Those of you at home I want you to pray this out loud. Everyone here I want you to pray this out loud whether you raised your hand or you didn’t. Like I said it would be ridiculous for everyone to come forward because, because it would be ridiculous. There’s, there’s no room up here.
It just doesn’t make any sense so we’re just going to all pray right where we’re at and I believe that we’re making commitments. Why don’t you pretend like you just went through a death experience like I did and you just decided that it’s all truth, righteousness and holiness from here on out. Everyone pray out loud with me right now. [STEVE LEADS AUDIENCE IN PRAYER AS AUDIENCE REPEATS AFTER HIM PHRASE BY PHRASE] Dear Jesus/Thank you/for speaking to me/ Thank You Jesus/for not leaving me alone/I ask you today/ to forgive me/I have sinned/I’m sorry/Wash me/Cleanse me/with Your blood/Be my Lord/Be my Savior/my very best friend/in Jesus’ name/Amen. Can we give the Lord praise right now?
AUDIENCE: Amen. (CLAPPING)
STEVE: Now before I turn it over. Brother Sid comes down with me just for a minute. I love this man of God right here. How many love this man of God right here?
AUDIENCE: Whooo. (CLAPPING)
STEVE: I love this man of God. And, um, we had an awesome prayer just a few minutes ago back there and I’m going to ask him to do something for me. I’m going to ask him to pray for me. Okay? I’m scared right now. And it has nothing to do with me. I’m fine. I always need a healing prayer, you know that, everybody, sometimes you don’t know you’re sick. Just lay hands on yourself all the time.
Okay? But, um, I’m scared for what’s facing our nation, our pastors. I’m, I’m afraid for those people who decide not to follow the Lord when they hear His voice and choose to go the other way. I’m afraid for the people that hear this vision and they cry and they email me and then they turn around 6 weeks, 2 months later and decide not to do anything about it. It’s called shelf life. Remember the shelf life of 9/11? Or was it 9/11? Remember the shelf life? What was it? Three weeks? Churches packed out, then after a while just sort of everybody went back to normal. It’s like we have to have a terrorist attack every 2 or 3 weeks, seriously, to keep people concerned. It’s the same way with spiritual truth. They hear it and they get convicted. The devil comes along. Slips in a few lies. And off they go down into his territory. So I want you to pray for me, brother.

And I took it and, um, I started flipping through the pages and all it is is red, it’s just red. It’s about this thick. And as I went through it I saw all the blessings that are being taught today. I saw all of Joseph Prince and Joel Osteen. And I saw the Rick Warren’s, and I saw, I saw everything. And by the way we’re entering the day of naming names. Okay? Oh, and by the way don’t be offended by that ever! Ever! Because it’s scriptural. From Genesis to Revelation God names names. And if you lived back in those days and your name was Bobby and you were a teenager and you were rebellious, they would say Bobby, go to the town square and Bobby would get stoned or Bobby would be killed. Different day.
David Ravenhill just preached a message called “When God Goes on a Killing Spree.” Hooo. And so I’ve got a message right now called “It Ain’t Gossip.” And I’m still working on it because it’s getting, I mean it’s just getting thicker and thicker and thicker and it’s going past an hour, past two hours. And it’s all that. It’s all when God names names and kills them. And then I’m going well, you’re going to soften up in the New Testament, you know. I get the New Testament, and get to Ananias and Sapphira. It doesn’t say and there was a couple in the church.
Ananias and Sapphira lied to God and they, they died. By name. And then Paul says Alexander the coppersmith has done me great harm. Does away with him. And he says I turned this man in the Corinthian church over to Satan and everybody knew who he was talking about. And then he closes his Epistles, his letters with names, just names. And then you get to Revelation. Forget it, I mean it’s like all over. God’s, God’s blowing them up, burning them, throwing them into pits. And He’s just, um, and so I’m in this little red letter book having my devotions.
And I’m reading all the blessings, and all the, the candy, and you know the Twinkies. I used to use Twinkies all the time, you know, in illustrations but now Hostess is going out of business and, it’s like the end of the world as we know it. You know.

So God waits, it’s almost like. Let me say it to you this way, uh, this, this is good. I think Sid will appreciate this. It’s like the teaching of “The Rapture.” And one of the arguments I get about the Rapture teaching is, is people will say “Well, I’ve read the whole Old Testament and it’s not there.” Let me tell you something. Everything that’s doctrinally sound in prophecy is always found in the Torah. I wish I had time to show you all this. It’s always found. Now you know where, you know where the Rapture is? It’s Exodus, chapter 19. Go read it. It says that, it says that there was a thunder on the mountain, lightening on the mountain, the mountain was shaking.
You ready? And there was the voice of a trumpet, the “Tekiah hagadola” the voice of a trumpet sounding loud and long. Now when the Lord comes He comes with the voice of a “trump.” And here’s what, here’s what it says. Ready?” And the Lord came down and Moses went up.” That’s what it says! “The Lord came down and Moses went up.” The Lord shall descend and we shall be caught up. Exodus 19 is the picture of the Rapture. Just read it. There’s 8 parallels there. They’re all found in the New Testament. So let me just say that up front. But, uh, sometimes people will come to me and they’ll, they’ll say “Uh, you know you don’t see a lot of anything about the Rapture in the Old Testament.” And I say let me just explain it to you this way. And I want you to follow me. In what we call was the First Covenant, which was the Old Testament prophets, in that First Covenant they knew that a Messiah was coming. It was predicted. They knew He was coming as a King. Okay? Zechariah calls Him the King.
The King shall rule, the King shall reign. So that we can establish that they already knew Messiah was coming but He was going to be a King. That’s why when Jesus showed up they were looking for a King. Because that’s what the prophet said. But here’s what I’m going to show you something about what we call the “Rapture Teaching.” You’ll love this. I told this to Grant Jeffrey about two years before he died and Grant said “I’m going to put that in the book.” But he never got a chance to. He went to be with the Lord. But Grant said “I’ve never heard that!” He said, “That’s amazing.” I said “Is it in the Bible?” He said “It’s right there!”
Now watch carefully. Exodus 19 is a picture of the Rapture. The Lord coming down, Moses going up. But according to the Bible that happened in the area of Sinai. Now you know Sinai is a peninsula. Mount Horeb is a mountain range in, in the midst of that. So when you talk about Sinai it’s, it’s not just one mountain, it’s an area of mountains. Okay? So he’s in Sinai getting the revelation. Now watch what happens. The first church without a doubt, read Acts chapter 2, is all Jewish. Read the 5000 converted, all Jewish.
There’s not a Gentile in the bunch. So why does God wait for two things? Why does God wait to put the Gentiles in in Acts 10 and He didn’t do it earlier? Number two: Why does God not give a Rapture revelation until He gives it to Paul? You all want to know the answer?

See so when you understand the feasts here again you start seeing all the analogies and the pictures of what John is writing. But here’s what I want to show you. I want to take you and, uh, show you this about the comparison, for example, of the prophet Ezekiel and John. Both were priests and were linked to the priesthood, Ezekiel chapter 1 and also the history I was talking about a moment ago. Both were held captive against their will, Ezekiel 1:1, Revelation 1:9.
Both were near water when their visions occurred. Now I don’t know what there is about water, all these prophets are hanging around river banks when the angels show up, Ezekiel 1:1 and John was surrounded by the Aegean Sea. Both saw heaven open and saw the visions of God, Ezekiel 1:26, Revelation 4:2. Both saw the four-faced living creatures. Now that’s important. In Ezekiel 1 and 10, Ezekiel saw the “cherubim” and also Revelation 4 and 7, John saw the same thing. Both saw the throne of God and God sitting on the throne. It’s a fascinating story in Ezekiel 1:26, Revelation 4:3.
There was a rainbow around the throne, Ezekiel 1:28, Revelation 4:3. Both saw a scroll filled with trouble and woe, Ezekiel chapter 2:10, Revelation chapter 6. Both were told to eat the scroll and prophesy, Ezekiel 3:1, Revelation 10:9. Both saw angels mark the head of the righteous, Ezekiel 9:4, Revelation 7:1 through 3. Both saw judgment strike Israel in Jerusalem, Ezekiel 14, Revelation 11:13. Both saw a Jewish remnant, Ezekiel 12:16, Revelation 12, verse 17.
And so when you look at this you say to yourself wait a minute. Ezekiel and John are actually paralleling their visions the same. Now here’s an example again of what we see in the Book of Revelation has a foundation in the Old Testament. Let me show you something else here.
