JOHN: God is healing someone here. You’ve had like a carpal tunnel. You can move your arms. That is gone! There’s someone else here. You can put your hand up. But God has released you in your shoulders right now. Even worse in your left one. God is releasing you! That is gone right now. We thank You, God, right now! And Planter’s Fasciitis. Someone here right now you’re in a lot of pain and all the day you’ve had it and right now you put a lot of pressure on it and that pain has gone from your feet! And somebody else you’ve been praying for that lady, you felt relief in your knees. You can put your hand up but God is healing knees right now! God set them free right now! Every organ! Total healing right now in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! And you viewers you can receive this too as I’m praying! Reach out right now! There’s an amazing atmosphere for miracles here! Reach out and let the power of the Holy Ghost flow into your life and set you free! Any condition! Depression! Headaches! Migraines! Disease! Go right now! Heal incurable diseases right now! Numbness and pain and diabetes! I break diabetes! A creative miracle right now for diabetes and for heart conditions right now! Brand new hearts! Somebody’s got a toothache in your top right hand of your head. You’ve got a lot of pain. You don’t have a dentist. You can’t even afford the dentist. I command right now that root thing, that pain, that inflammation in the right hand side of your jaw right now in the name of Jesus! Set them free! Pain in the collar bone! A broken collar bone and healed improperly. I command the left hand side. All that pain and the bone to come back into place too in the name of Jesus! Lord, deliver them right now! Right now just start to thank Him right now. Thank You, Lord, for touching us! Thank You, Lord, for Your healing power that’s flowing through us!

AUDIENCE: [Clapping]

JOHN: We receive it right now! We receive it right now! Receive it right now! You know it’s amazing! You know I believe God was healing people even before I got to preach! You viewers and people here, you’re in an atmosphere of faith for the supernatural! But God’s been doing a lot of wonderful things here even before I started praying that prayer. But right now I want you to check yourself out right now. You know if you sensed û you know some things we notice straightaway. Sometimes healing is a process. I pray. People might not notice something straightaway. Then 10 minutes later, one hour later or next day hang on! It’s gone! It’s gone! And right now I want you to just check yourself out. And if you sensed a symptom leave you or God heal you in any way, check yourself out. You know if you had a lump, check it for the lump. Or if you had a pain or whatever you had or a sinus problems or blindness or eyesight problems, check yourself out. If you sensed God touch you or heal you in some way, put your hand up! Who’s had something happen right now? Did God touch you, mate? Come out here, mate! This bloke here. We call them “blokes.” You know I was at a meeting. I called someone a bloke. He was a large guy! He thought I called him a “bloat!”

AUDIENCE: [Laughing]

JOHN: I’ll say it again! The absence of the supernatural evidence of healing and miracles is abnormal! But what happens is that some people are so used to the abnormal that the abnormal becomes their normal! [Laughs]

AUDIENCE: [Laughter]

JOHN: And then they’re making doctrines about it! Oh, well the miracles ended with the disciples. They make doctrines to make up for their abnormality! But friends, I want to tell you it’s normal for miracles!

AUDIENCE: Yes.

JOHN: It’s normal for believers to lay hands on the sick! And how it isn’t just to see me you know me pray or whatever. God wants to use you! God uses believers! That’s good news isn’t it?

AUDIENCE: Yes!

JOHN: You think about it! It’s not about what you feel. Your education. It’s based on your making a decision. “Jesus, here I am!” Just reach out and God can use you! But you know today I won’t speak for long because there’s people that have come. You’ve got pain. You’ve got sickness. And you know that man last week. You know we were in Michigan. That man had 600 pounds hit him. For 5 years he struggled in a walker. He was in chronic pain. His legs were numb. No feeling. Medication. And all I did was this. I just laid hands. I just said: “In the name of Jesus! [Laughs] “There is no other name under heaven whereby we can be saved!”

AUDIENCE: [Shouting and clapping]

JOHN: “Or delivered or set free but the name of Jesus!” And when I prayed the power of God flowed through him! He laid there and he got up. He ran out through the door!

AUDIENCE: [Laughter]

JOHN: I said: “Watch out for the bears!”

AUDIENCE: [Laughter]

JOHN: And then his brother-in-law. His brother-in-law was the next one I prayed for. Keep in mind it’s a healing seminar. His brother-in-law struggled to walk. He was an Iraq veteran. In 2007 this explosive device blew up his truck and damaged his spine. And so for 11 years a caved-in spine. Chronic pain. He was an invalid. A young man. Invalid. And he struggled to walk. The pain was so horrific. He was on so many pain killers. He showed me. He showed us a photo of about 20 or 30 different medications to try and even the edge off the pain. And his legs were numb. The nerves were so damaged. So after his brother-in-law got healed, I called him up. I said: “In the name of Jesus!” Come on! “In the name of Jesus!”

AUDIENCE: In the name of Jesus!

JOHN: The power of God flowed through him! He fell on the floor! He got up and he ran out too!

AUDIENCE: Whooo! [Clapping]

JOHN: And you know what? But you see this is normal! This is not any strange thing! This is from Genesis to Revelation. This is normal Christianity!

AUDIENCE: Yes!

JOHN: But right now I want to pray for some people. And you know when I was talking about that horrific pain, there’s some people here today, man, even pain killers can’t bring full relief. If right now you’re experiencing really, really bad pain right now from your body, put your hand up. You need a miracle! You need a miracle in your body! Can I just pray for that lady? Can I pray for you? This lady behind her. Come out this lady with the beads on. Yeah. Come out here. Just come out here. And see all I do is what the Bible teaches. I believe in Jesus. I’m a believer! Hey, God bless you! What’s your name?

WOMAN #1: Hagar.

SID: You know Joshua because you’ve released that atmosphere I’m moving in towards and I actually had a picture of knowledge. People’s fingers, whatever is the matter with your fingers you’re being healed right now. And on your arm, either arm, the top or the bottom bone. I used to know what these femur, or no, that’s the foot, the leg, but the top bone and the bottom bone of your arms, whatever you need you’re being healed right now and the anointing is moving right down the backs and spines. In fact Joshua I think it’s jumping on you. What do you see?

JOSHUA: Yeah, there’s somebody that’s getting healed right now in their knees. The cartilage is being restored where your knees have been worn out and it’s been so painful and difficult even just to walk. It’s brought you great pain. Right now there’s a glory atmosphere that’s coming into your home even as you’re listening to the Word. The Bible says that “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” There’s an atmosphere of faith that is being created for you right now even as you hear these words being released!

SID: Now if someone is in the right atmosphere you say they can get ideas for making money or for their needs or their business or their family in this atmosphere of God’s glory. Give me an example of businessmen that got ideas.

JOSHUA: You know the atmosphere of God’s glory is the atmosphere of creativity.

SID: Hmm!

JOSHUA: And there was a businessman that was in one of my meetings in Singapore a few years back and in that meeting I saw in the atmosphere of glory in the spirit I begin seeing giftings and creativity and downloads and different things just being dropped upon different individuals that were there. The very next day this businessman

SID: Excuse me. I have to ask you this question. When you saw this drop down what did you see? I’m curious.

JOSHUA: They looked like little gift packages literally dropping upon people, like they were gifts from heaven that God was giving. And I saw them dropping down upon people in the spirit. The very next day this businessman from California came up to me and he said as you were releasing that he said God was giving me something for my business. He owned a family bakery in California and he had been asking God for a new idea because he wanted to take his bakery to a new level. He wanted to break out of the old and do some new things and he needed the practical guideline on how to do this and how to make it work and God literally downloaded it to him in that moment of glory and gave him the whole blueprint for it. He went home and put it into place and we started receiving pastries on our doorstep

SID: (LAUGHING)

 JOSHUA: from this brand new line of gourmet pastries that he created because he got the idea in the glory.

SID: Well guess what? We’re in the glory right now. I wonder if you would pray for some of these packages and I’ll tell you what, Joshua, I’ll take one! (laughs)

DAWNA: It is. It can be beautiful. And I’m not talking about if someone’s being beaten by a spouse.

LAURA: No, I understand.

DAWNA: But there is something about obedience and a weapon of that that’s so cool. Yeah. I just actually – when I think of authority I think of power.  I think of being powerful.

LAURA: I actually wrote a book about submission one time.

DAWNA: Hah!

LAURA: And it was submission to authority.

DAWNA: Did it sell well? [laughs]

LAURA: NO! That’s why I’m not going to name the title!

DAWNA: No the people who got it –

LAURA: [laughing] It’s not your fault!

DAWNA: And then I met T.D. Jakes. He had written a book on authority and I thought why didn’t I just name it something on authority?

DAWNA: Yeah! Really! 

LAURA: Everybody would have loved it! But it is. It’s so true we have to be mindful and that’s important in our spirit work as well. [music begins] Okay! It’s just getting good so don’t go anywhere! We will be right back! More with Dawna De Silva on Something More!

LAURA: Welcome back everyone! I’m Laura Harris Smith. This is Something More !And we’re here today with author Dawna De Silva! And you know we’ve talked already about her gifting to help activate people and get them into the next place in their life! We talked about your personal life. How you can activate and get to that next place personally. We’ve talked about how to do it in your home. How to cleanse the home and make sure that you are in a place like under that blessful spout to where the Holy Spirit can really come in and clean house and give you a new purpose and a new hope. But Dawna, now I want to talk about how do we activate – you know maybe it’s an environment, a work environment where you don’t have total control over everybody, even in your church. We all walk in. We see things that need changing. How do you be the change and make that happen?

DAWNA: One of my favorite quotes comes from Danny Silk, who’s a pastor that I worked under and he said on a good day I can control myself.

LAURA: [laughs]

DAWNA: But that means basically I can’t control you so I have to work on me being the agent of change. And so really it’s how do you – how do you give off Christ in you and how do you not take on what’s coming at you? And really it’s pretty easy if you actually are aware of what’s going on around you. So for me if I’m working under someone that may be real aggressive and I’m really timid I can just say I don’t partner with this aggressive spirit! You know you have to understand that we fight not against flesh and blood but its powers, principalities and authorities. And so I’m not fighting my boss. I’m not fighting my grouchy co-worker.

LAURA: [laughs]

DAWNA: I’m not fighting my teenage children. You know I’m actually fighting against a spirit realm that is actually speaking broadcasts that they’re kind of partnering with. 

LAURA: Right. And I know a lot of times the way that I change the atmosphere is I just walk in the opposite spirit. 

DAWNA: Absolutely.

LAURA: If there’s someone that’s just angry I just try to be loving. Not a doormat.

DAWNA: Yeah.

JOHN: And then the other thing is that there were dark, dark areas in my life that I didn’t even know were there, Sid, until adversity hit. So in other words when I was a young man I was very sheltered and protected by my mom who loved me. I was my son, my son. And then I get married and I’m not my son, my son, my son. I am now having to live a real life with somebody who also has dreams and visions and passions and all of a sudden I realize oh my gosh, there’s some real ugly control problems. Anger problems. You know meanness that I didn’t even know was there. And I remember one day I said God, where is this coming from? I mean I was never this way at home with my mom and dad.

SID: [LAUGHS]

JOHN: And God said to me He said son, when you look at gold that’s 14 karat gold that looks pure but when you put it in a furnace of 7000 degrees what happens? I said the impurities come to the surface. He said they appear, right? And I said yeah. And He said so they were in there but you couldn’t see them. I said yeah. He said John, where is all this stuff coming from? It’s always been in you. He said what’s happened is the furnace has exposed what was in you. Now you can blame your wife and He said it’ll go right back down in you or you can cry out to me and I’ll take it out. And I –

SID: I’ll tell you what? Hold that thought. We’re running out of time right now but when we come back I want to find out such things as what is the difference between what Hollywood portrays as marriage and what God says marriage is supposed to be.

SID: Sid Roth back here with John and Lisa Bevere for Something More! And Lisa, I have to ask you what’s wrong with the picture of Hollywood because everyone thinks that’s the way marriage is supposed to be!

LISA: Well you know they really just focus in on being the perfect person. Getting that perfect person. You’re going to get married and have the perfect wedding. He’s going to have a perfect body. You’re going to have a perfect body and they focus everything in on the beginning. But the truth is and I’m going to put three things out there. Number One: You know it isn’t about finding the right person. It’s about being the right person. And most people aren’t doing the hard work they need to do in themselves as individuals so they actually are attracted to the right kind of people. They’re actually needy and they’re like I need somebody to complete me. Well Jesus needs to complete you and then you need to figure out who you can work with, who you can multiply with, who you can grow with. But you can’t have a person meet all of your needs. They’re going to fail you. And Number Two. You know a marriage doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful. And too many people because of Hollywood they compare this Hollywood thing and they think man, I have a stupid marriage. My marriage is so flawed it’s horrible and then it creates a comparison culture. And you know as Theodore Roosevelt said that Comparison is the thief of joy. So they are constantly seeing things that make them feel like they have something less than what they really want. And then also marriage isn’t about marrying the perfect person. It is about actually perfecting YOU.
