Our Guest Aliss Cresswell
ALISS: Oh yeah! Thank you, Jesus! Whooohoo! Oh, He’s so good, isn’t He! So… but you can do that too everywhere you go. I mean we’ve… you know we have this cafe, we’ve got this shop right in the middle of Chester. But you can just, you can do miracles anywhere. It’s good isn’t it… you know maybe you’ve been in church and practicing doing miracles and prophesying to people but it’s, it’s a good place to practice but it’s just for everyday life. And I find that you can try to talk to people about Jesus you know as much as you like but really if you do a miracle… if you get some supernatural knowledge and tell it to them they want to know about Jesus. They want to know the power of that feeling and the love that they can feel that they’ve never experienced in their life before. And they…we just find you know hundreds of people giving their lives to Jesus. But you can do that. It’s easy. It is. It’s easy! You just speak it out and it happens. And if it doesn’t happen you speak it out again. You just don’t give up. You just keep going. You know one of the things I’ve, I’ve found is we have a lot of people come in and they say well I’ve prayed a lot and I’ve still got this illness and I don’t know… or people will be praying for others and not seeing much happen. But one of the things I’ve discovered is that a lot of illnesses are caused by evil spirits. Even if you are a Christian it could be an evil spirit that’s causing it. I’ll tell you one story that’s quite good as a teaching tool. This happened to me a few years ago. And a friend of mine came round to my house just for a chat and a coffee and we’re sitting chatting. And then she gets up and I get up at the same time. And suddenly both of us have the same symptoms. Like we suddenly we get really dizzy. We have really bad headaches. But we can’t see properly and our ears go deaf and we feel really disorientated. Now if I was on my own I probably would have thought well I just got up too quickly or I’ve got a virus that’s coming or something, you know. But because it was both of us have the same symptoms at the same time we thought maybe this is an evil spirit up to something. So we prayed together and we said we just tell our evil spirit to leave in the name of Jesus. Now all the symptoms left apart from that I still had a bad headache. And my friend went home and I thought I’m not putting up with this headache any longer. This is from the enemy. I’m not having it. We have authority. We have power over all the power of the enemy, Jesus says in Luke, chapter 10. That’s amazing, isn’t it? Just go away and read it. Just keep reading that verse where He gives us power and authority over ALL the power of the enemy. That’s the truth! So anyhow so I’m there on my own then. I’m in my living room and we’ve got these French windows looking out onto the garden. My headache is really bad. And I’m like in the name of Jesus I command that evil spirit to leave me now! And as soon as I said it there was a big bang. And what happened was there was a woodpecker, just, which… they’re not very common really in England. But it was flying through our garden towards our house. The evil spirit must have left me and it entered this woodpecker cause evil spirits want to be in a body. The nearest body was this woodpecker flying. So it left me, it enters this woodpecker and the woodpecker bashed itself into the window upstairs, fell to the ground just outside the French windows. Dead! I mean “deadedety dead!” Like… dead! It must have broken its neck. I mean it was like, its neck was twisted. It was on its back. Its feet in the air. It was like… similar, similar to that. But not exact.
AUDIENCE: (LAUGHTER)
Our Guest Paul Wilbur
Sid: I have on the telephone I’m speaking to him at his home in Jacksonville, Florida anointed Levite psalmists Paul Wilbur. I’m interviewing him and playing selections from his CD “Lion of Judah.” Paul there is one selection, well there are more than one most of them, but there’s one in particular that really does something to my spirit. It is called “Dance With Me” tell me about that song.
Paul: That is a song Sid that has from the very first moment I heard it impacted my life probably as much as any song I can imagine. It’s come out of the Song of Songs or the Song of Solomon and it’s a song of the lover to his bride. Yet at the same time it’s a cry from the heart of the bride to the groom. I’ve discovered this song it came out of the International House of Prayer under the direction of Mike Bickle there in Kansas City. These are houses all over the world now Sid that spend 24/7 that means 24 hours a day 7 days a week in intercessory prayer and in worship. It is a phenomenal phenomenal ministry tugging on the heart of God.
Sid: What is going on in your heart when you’re singing that song “Dance With Me?”
Paul: Well it is so intimate. If you read the Song of Songs the book of the Song of Solomon there are some portions of that book which are almost embarrassingly revealing of the call of the bride to the groom, and the groom to the bride. It’s an intimacy which is reserved for those who are the absolutely closest of friends. Even as Yeshua said the closest thing He could resemble it to would be a marriage covenant that is kept and walked in in its fulness by a man and a woman. But it still goes so far beyond it’s a song it’s a call and as I sing it I close my eyes I try to block out everybody and everything. I’m calling my heart it’s deep call to deep for the communion the sense of the wrapping of His arms around me to hold me close.
Sid: There are people that are listening to us Paul that have lost their first love and we’re so close, we’re so close to the Messiah’s return. There is such a job that He has on every single person that’s listening to my voice right now. It’s… I want you to be a coach tell us what to do as we listen to this song “Dance With Me.”
Paul: Sid I’ve gotten so many testimonies from people and not again to exclude the men but particularly from the women who listen to this song. Here’s what I would suggest, take the music take the CD sit down in a quiet place and put this on this song “Dance With Me” and you may even put it just to repeat over and over. Get yourself into a position where you can just simply put aside all the cares of the day, the thoughts and things that would distract and listen deeply to the words of this song. It is a call from God Himself to you. We have actually had so many testimonies Sid of women who had been abused or abandoned, or felt unlovely they have actually experienced listening to this music that Jesus would take them up into His arms and dance them around the room. Take them on tours around the universe if that sounds too strange for some folks. I challenge them put it on and see where the Spirit of God will take them.
Sid: You’re telling me you have testimonies of people that have been just drifted so deep in the Spirit from this music?
Paul: Hmm hmm and me myself I told you yesterday in the… not only in the recording time but many times in just simply singing these songs there is an anointing Sid as you said yesterday that destroys yokes. It’s not just yokes of our thought patters, it’s not just yokes of financial bondage it’s every yoke He destroys them and the anointing does it. It’s not just something you can beg for, you can’t pay for it, you can’t yearn and plead for it. It’s just His anointing that He gives freely and He’s no respecter of persons.
Sid: There are some people with arthritis. As you worship God right now I tell you that arthritis will be destroyed by the anointing because the anointing destroys the yoke.
Excerpt: Dance With Me
Sid: That’s “Dance With Me” by Paul Wilbur. Paul this came from the Song of Solomon, Song of Songs and what else does that tell us about intimacy Song of Songs?
Paul: Well this thing is so intimate Sid as we said earlier it can almost be embarrassing. Listen to these words that God wrote for us in the Song of Songs chapter 2 it says in verse 8:
Listen My lover look here he comes leaping across the mountains bounding over the hills. He’s coming to us he’s coming over the mountains and the hills for us. It says: Look there he stands behind the wall. My lover spoke to and said to me ‘Arise my darling my beautiful one and come with me.’
See the winter is passed even as we sang in that song. The depression is passed, the fear is passed, the sickness is passed, the winter is passed, and the springtime has come. Flowers appear on the earth, a season of singing has come. Arise my darling come my beautiful one and come with me.
Sid: My goodness what do you say after that? You can’t say anything but what’s going to happen on tomorrow’s broadcast? Can we top it Paul?
Paul: (Laughing) We’re going to go on about intimacy because even though it may be a little bit embarrassing for us in our western way of thought. This is exactly why Yeshua gave Himself because He wants us to be intimate with Him.
Sid: You have seen many many people physically healed and God’s not a respecter of persons. Your father-in-law who I personally know also got a death sentence tell me about that.
Paul: Well he went in this past September, this last fall, to have his gallbladder removed. When they opened him up they almost closed him back because they found cancer in the bio duct, they found cancer in his liver, they found cancer in his lymph system. The doctor said “Well I’ve got him open” and spent 8½ hours operating trying to remove whatever he could see. But then they closed him up…
Sid: Wait… quickly what was the prognosis?
Paul: Well they said that he’d be dead by Christmas.
Sid: Alright we’ll pick up here on tomorrow’s broadcast.
Our Guest Dr. Chauncey Crandall
SID: Now Doctor, you prayed in tongues and supernatural language in the operating room. Do you recall the first person that was raised from the dead and it had something to do with when you were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues.
DR. CRANDALL: Yes, right.
SID: Tell me about that.
DR. CRANDALL: You know, Sid, for three months I had been praying for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I didn’t attend a church that believed these things. But I read in the Bible that there was this gift from God called the baptism of the Holy Spirit, so I was praying for that and I didn’t receive it. But one day it happened. In the emergency room, a woman came in with sudden death. We took her to the operating room and I was standing over her body, I was working on her and all of a sudden, Sid, she went flatline on the table. When she went flatline, my arms were pulled up in the air by the Lord over this body and all of a sudden this new language started coming forth out of my mouth. Actually, Sid, this thing bypassed my brain. It was something coming from deep within that came out, poured over this woman who was flatlined on the operating room table. The nurses were running around waiting for the next instruction.
SID: What does flatline mean actually?
DR. CRANDALL: Flatline means that the heart had stopped due to a massive heart attack. There was no life, no pulse, no blood pressure in this body that was on the table. But the Lord had other plans and said, “This will be a miracle.” And as I stood there, this supernatural experience came over me, this new language came out of my mouth that spoke life over this woman and then suddenly life came into her. The heartbeat came back, the breathing came back simply by praying over this woman in this new language from the Lord.
SID: Now there is so much power when he prays in a language from God, a language directly from his spirit that fortunately bypasses his brain because his brain has a filter of limitations. God has no limitation. There’s another one. There’s too many to talk about. But Jeff, who was flatlined, that means dead, dead.
DR. CRANDALL: Yes.
SID: Tell me about Jeff.
DR. CRANDALL: Well this was one day I didn’t feel like a godly person. I was in the middle of work. I was working. A massive heart attack came in, Jeff Martin, and they worked on him in the emergency room for over 40 minutes, and then they called me to come and respond. But as I was walking there, I said, “You know, this man is going to be a dead man. He’s been gone for 40 minutes.” And I arrived at the emergency room, Sid, and it was like chaos. It was an operating room full of chaos trying to bring life into this man, but there was no life left. And I went over the protocol with the senior physician, and we reviewed everything and we decided that everything had been done, and even if we brought this man back he would be brain dead, so we declared him dead. Everyone left the room except one nurse. She was preparing the body for the morgue. I finished my notes and as I walked out of that room, Sid, I heard the voice of God say, “Turn around and pray for that man.” And I said, “Lord, that can’t be you. I can’t pray for a dead man.” And I kept walking, but the voice of the Lord came back a second time, Sid, “Turn around and pray for that man.” So I walked back to the room. I stood over the body. The nurse looked at me, why are you here. The head of the body was here, the feet were here. I prayed. I was going to pray, but I didn’t know what to pray. The Holy Spirit took over. And as I looked down at that body and put my hands on his torso, these words came out my mouth: “Father God, I cry out for this man’s soul. If he does not know you as Lord and Savior, raise him from the dead now in the name of Jesus.” And as I said that prayer, I stepped backwards. My arm went up in the air as to praise the Lord. The other emergency room doctor walked in. “What are you doing? Why are you still here?” I said, “I am praying for this man.” And I looked at the emergency doctor and I said, “Shock this body one more time.” He said, “No, impossible.” I said, “Shock him.” And he went over, he grabbed those paddles on that corpse, he let out the electricity and an instant perfect heartbeat came back, Sid.
SID: Are you special or can anyone do this that knows Jesus?
DR. CRANDALL: I am not special. Anyone can do this, Sid. All of us can do this and walk this way.
SID: Okay. When we come back, here’s what I want to find out. All these people that are dying and coming back to life, what are they experiencing on the other side? Are any of you interested in that? I am. Be right back.
Our Guest James Goll
SID: Okay. So I’ll never forget the name Sabrina now. She gets a marvelous healing from cancer. And so James now has a driver. He’s going to the next city, but the story continues. What happened?
JAMES: It’s absolutely amazing, Sid. So it was raining, pouring down rain. We didn’t even know how we were going to get from that city to the next because cars weren’t even new in Albania at that time. And so but we’re out there. We thumb a ride. A person pulls over. We get in. And so I start telling him the story. And I said, “There was a woman at the meeting tonight and God knew her name, and her name was Sabrina. He knew her age. He knew that she had a tumor and that the Holy Spirit rebuilt all of this, and she met Jesus.” This man starts tremoring and shaking at the steering wheel, and it’s like he’s trying to avoid the potholes. And then he goes, “Oh!” And he starts talking, “That was my wife!”
SID: This guy just picks him up and [unintelligible]. Now you skeptics, figure that one out.
JAMES: And he gets saved, too.
SID: You know something James? Life is boring without knowing the Holy Spirit. How would you like to live without knowing Jesus and the Holy Spirit? I don’t know how someone would manage. Humans can cope, but the truth of the matter is you don’t know what life until you know Jesus and you have experiential knowledge with God. I don’t mean intellectual knowledge. Tell me about the gift of the working of miracles.
JAMES: I break it down, you know, the three vocal gifts and the three revelatory gifts, and the three power gifts. In this realm here there is the gift, obviously gifts, plural, of healings.
SID: What does this mean to you, this gifts of healings, plural?
JAMES: Because there’s different modalities. There’s different dimensions of the way that the gift, gifts of healings, healing is demonstrated. There’s different ways. It works through different people.
SID: For instance, tell me about that person in a coma.
JAMES: So here’s another encounter that I had. There was a person in a city that I was living in and they were in the hospital. The wife calls our home and wants me to come and pray. I go into my intercessory prayer place and the Holy Spirit forbids me to go. I’m like, now wait a second. This doesn’t seem like the kind Jesus. Okay.
SID: But Jesus, when he went to Lazarus, remember, he waited.
JAMES: I know, Sid. That’s where we’re going. Okay. Are you prophetic, Sid?
SID: Did I hear you say pathetic?
JAMES: I said, are you prophetic, Sid. I think you’re picking up on my, no, I mean, okay. So what happened was then after praying for around 36 hours, and I was not permitted to go, finally things clicked on the inside, and I knew it’s time to go. I knew it was time to go. See that again is a gift of faith. And I knew. See, Oral Roberts defined it this way. The gift of faith is I know that I know, that I know, that I know. And I just knew now was the time. So then I went. But when I went he now had slipped very deep into a coma. I go into that hospital place and I’m like, it’s not like Gentle Jim that’s showing up. This is Giant James. And I go in there and I thump him, I thump him, I thump him, I thumped him on his heart. He wakes up. He comes out of the coma and he got totally healed.
SID: God is starting to operate, for some reason the giftings, like I’m a specialist in certain areas.
JAMES: That’s right.
SID: Those that watch know. But the gifting I have, it’s starting to increase, which I’m very excited about. For instance, I felt something and I know someone was healed right now. I felt something right about here, neck to shoulder. You are healed in Yeshua, that’s Hebrew for Jesus, in Yeshua’s name. I command that pain to leave. I have to tell you, I get aggressive. Why do I get aggressive? I don’t know. When my voice goes up the anointing gets stronger. Have you found that?
JAMES: Well that’s when authority and that faith I mentioned, revelation then is mixed with authority. And when those two things come together there is an impartation that occurs. So right now also I see somebody, I hear somebody with like a laryngitis, but it’s actually it’s really important because you’re a singer. But I right now, I speak to that person in the name of Jesus and I see the Holy Spirit putting like a Holy Spirit soothing anointing of like an oil. It’s going to go down your throat and I just speak grace over your vocal chords because God has a new song for you to sing to bring impact for Jesus’ sake. Amen. Be healed.
SID: Okay. When we come back I have an idea there’s a few people that would like James to impart the supernatural gift of faith. Is that you? Shake your head at me on TV. Let me know. Okay. Be right back.
Sid Roth
SID: Now some of you may be wondering why I’m seated and that’s because you don’t understand the Jewish way of teaching. When Jesus, and his name from Miriam his mother, wasn’t Jesus, by the way, it was Yeshua. When Jesus taught, when Yeshua taught he would be seated and many rabbis teach this way. So I thought I would teach this way. Is that okay? All right. Now I’m going to tell you what the Holy Spirit revealed to me and this is important for you to capture, to grasp. The first thing I want to talk about is a word that I understand Joyce Meyer had a tape series on this, a CD series on this subject and no one bought it. And then she changed the title and people bought it. But the original title was what I want to talk about, “Humility.” Now I have a friend and this friend, he says to me all the time, “I’m nothing.” And I have to tell you, teachers like Kenneth Hagan on the righteousness of God and Messiah Jesus, and so I heard him say that and I didn’t say anything. That’s his business, you know. But you know what? It’s got to do with motivation. I hear many people say, I’m the righteousness of God, and that motivation isn’t right. You know what I’m saying? And I hear people say, I’m nothing. I can tell you now, I can honestly say to you, I am nothing. I’m nothing. Without God, I wouldn’t be seated here. Without God, I wouldn’t even be alive right now. Without God, I wouldn’t know where I’m going when I die. Without God, I wouldn’t want to live. And I found this in Scripture, Galatians, chapter 6, verse 3, “For if anyone thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he is deceiving himself.” You recognize the only thing good in me and the only thing good in you is the Messiah. Galatians 2:20, maybe you can understand right now, “I’ve been crucified with the Messiah. It’s no longer I who live, but the Messiah who lives in me and the life that I now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.” So anything good in me is from the Messiah. I had the privilege of meeting Katherine Kuhlman, and Katherine Kuhlman would have all this wonderful worship. But you don’t know, she had a motivation behind this wonderful worship. She would be backstage saying, “Holy Spirit, if you don’t show up, nothing is going to happen.” She knew that she was nothing and God could use nothing and make something out of nothing. There’s no room at all for arrogance. Now one of the keys of walking in humility is walking in forgiveness, and I want to put the word “instant” forgiveness. Why? The longer you wait, the tougher it is. You have to instantly forgive. Mark 11:25-26 says, “Whenever you stand praying if you have anything against anyone,” that’s pretty inclusive, you know, anything. What? Anything. Against who? Anyone. Now here’s where forgiveness gets tricky. It’s very important to realize if you’re waiting for a feeling you may wait forever. It’s a decision. I’m going to follow the Messiah. I don’t care if it hurts, I don’t care what happens, I don’t care what I feel, I am a follower of the Messiah, and I am going to instantly forgive. It’s a decision and you can do the decision. You can’t do the feeling, but you can do the decision. The feeling will come. The second thing is I used to think in the wrong, this was wrong, that if someone did something bad to me they had to ask for my forgiveness in order for me to forgive them. Untrue. I am commanded by God to forgive whether they ask me or not. And number three, you can forgive someone and truly forgive them, but they have to earn your trust. That doesn’t mean you’re stupid. You don’t have to trust them, but you have to forgive them. Now you know when you understand this, it’s easy to forgive. Someone said it this way: Unforgiveness is drinking the poison that you want the other person to drink. You know who you’re hurting? You’re just hurting yourself. Now the second thing I want to talk about is something that not too many people talk about and they’d better. This is the most important thing on the heart of God at this moment in history, and it’s holiness, purity. Hebrews 12:14 says, “Pursue holiness without which no one will see the Lord.” By the way, this is my P.S. No one will see the Lord in this life or when they leave. Anyone interested in seeing the Lord when they leave? Anyone interested in seeing the Lord in this life? Without holiness, you will not see the Lord. I mean, I kind of, I can rest the case on that. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators nor adulators, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covenants, nor drunkards will inherit the Kingdom of God.” Biblical morality does not change with the times. God says, “I am the same yesterday, today and forever and you that think you can practice new age, homosexuality, sex without marriage, living with a partner without being married, pornography, everything listed in Deuteronomy 18 and see God, you are as the scripture says, you are deceived. I’m telling you that holiness is possible, not in yourself, but it’s called grace. It’s not grace to sin, it’s grace to have the power to overcome the sin. Let’s get it straight. And when I come back, I’ll go to the next point.
